2024 Denver Broncos Rumors are only accelerating after the team officially released Russell Wilson. Two of their top Wide Receivers may be next.
Courtland Sutton and Jerry Jeudy were selected between two different NFL Drafts. Sutton was taken in the second round in 2018, while his teammate Jeudy was the 15th overall selection in the 2020 draft. In their time together in Denver, Sutton and Jeudy have delivered some standout moments, but their efforts have been for naught for a multitude of reasons.

Peyton Manning delivered a Super Bowl to Denver in the 2015 season. After the game, the elder Manning walked off into the sunset. In the nine seasons since Manning’s retirement the Broncos have yet to return to the postseason and have lost double digit games in all but three of these seasons. The 2022 and 2023 seasons have seen the Broncos become laughingstocks, like when Russell Wilson put together some of the worst games of his career, and in 2023, the Broncos gave up 70 points in Week 3 against the Miami Dolphins.
But for the rest of 2023 after that embarrassment, the Broncos seemed to have turned a corner. Despite a 1-5 start, the team went on a roll through October and November, winning five consecutive games to enter December 6-5. These wins occured over several playoff teams, including the eventual champion Kansas City Chiefs. Then, the team reversed course back to losing and fell apart as the season ended, finishing 8-9 and returning to the front of the draft.Ezoic

Coach Sean Payton has never experienced a rebuilding project in his coaching career. His first coaching job, Offensive Coordinator of the New York Giants from 2000-2002, featured two playoff appearances. These appearances included a run to Super Bowl 35, where the Giants would lose. Once he arrived in New Orleans, he would immediately find postseason success with a Saints team and city who desperately needed a revival after Hurricane Katrina.
After he won Super Bowl 44 with New Orleans, his later Saints career featured three consecutive losing seasons, then one more opportunity to advance to a Super Bowl. It ended horribly for New Orleans. Payton would wrap his New Orleans career with a 9-8 record in 2021 before leaving football for one season.
As part of the mill of 2024 Denver Broncos Rumors, Denver may seek to draft J.J. McCarthy from Michigan. However, QB-desperate teams in the top 10, like the New York Giants, may wish to select McCarthy. Denver holds the 12th selection, and would need a trade up in that scenario.
2024 Denver Broncos Rumors: Will Sutton and Jeudy have suitors?

If Sutton and Jeudy are to be released, the swirling 2024 Denver Broncos Rumors would only intensify with regards to a rebuild. Despite their less-than-stellar outputs as of late, Sutton and Jeudy should fetch at least some suitors in a market that will include both their fellow free agents and the deep 2024 draft class at the position. 2024 Denver Broncos Rumors Will only continued to swirl until Draft Day arrives next month.
