The past few weeks have been nothing short of hell for all players of the Dallas Cowboys. Following their painful Wildcard Round loss to the Green Bay Packers, fans have been critical of the team and many have begun to analyze and put forth their theories on what exactly went wrong for America’s team. The focal point has been the team’s defense, which was stellar throughout the regular season and deemed to be one of the top defenses in the NFL.
However, the defense crumbled against the Packers, and defensive coordinator Dan Quinn had no answer for Jordan Love and Matt LaFleur. In addition to Quinn, linebacker Micah Parsons has also come under fire with some fans alleging that he is a selfish player.
An online Facebook page that goes by Law Nation Sports posted a lengthy video calling out Parsons for his selfishness and a former Cowboys wideout. Jesse Holley commented on the same video supporting the statements made.
Sherese Parsons defended her son after a sports page accused him of being selfish
Sherese Parsons, the mother of Micah Parsons, happened to come across this video and Holley’s comment. She clapped back at the former receiver for not reaching out personally to her son and posted a lengthy response to the Law Nation Sports page video as well. Here’s what Holley had initially commented on the video.
Micah Parsons, to me, this is just me, is probably the most selfish player on this football team. One of the reasons why Micah Parsons does not want to play linebacker, it’s too much of a responsibility.
The former wideout called out Parsons for looking confused when he dropped back in coverage against the Packers.
Here’s what Sherese Parsons said to Holley:
So, Jesse, before you talk badly about someone, sit down with them and ask those questions before you assume.
She took issue with the fact that the former wideout had not spoken to her son nor anyone close to him and had publicly made these claims. She made sure the fans knew that every time Micah Parsons stepped out on the field, he gave it his all.

She brought up instances wherein Micah Parsons has helped and been there for his teammates and the bond he shares with them. The lady took issue with the fact that Parsons was being judged by people who had never met him, nor had any idea about the type of individual he was.
Micah Parsons did not have the ideal playoff game as he ended the match with 0 tackles and 0 sacks. It was just not the night for the Dallas Cowboys, as nothing went in their favor.
