The Kansas City Chiefs dressing room seems to be in a perfect rhythm now. After winning their second consecutive Super Bowl, the Chiefs announced they would go for a perfect wide receiver. And finally, the team managed to sign the former Arizona Cardinals and Baltimore Ravens WR Marquise Brown.
Brown had two underwhelming seasons in the Cardinals’ colors. His underperformance was a primary reason for the team not to extend his contract for the 2024-25 season. Eventually, the player hit the free agency and the Chiefs bagged him.
If the deal has made anyone happy then it has to be Patrick Mahomes. For the last two seasons, Mahomes was deprived of the service of a perfect wide receiver. The departure of Tyreek Hill made his life difficult. Despite facing all odds, Mahomes provided his best under pressure. Even without the service of a proper wide receiver, he delivered two consecutive Super Bowls.
The inclusion of Brown would help him to gather more steam in the coming time. The Chiefs offense looks stronger; at least on paper. No foolish drops in the end zone are expected this season if Brown has to stand by his potential In the coming season.
Mahomes shared a small clip on X. A funny video was shared where a bunch of people were fighting with each other. The uploader wrote that the fight was going on to buy Brown in the fantasy league. Mahomes shared the clip with a cheeky caption, It reflected how happy he is to get the new receiver on board.
This is not the first time Mahomes has shared something regarding the new signing. Before that, he also shared a few emoji reactions after news of the Chiefs signing the WR began doing the rounds.

Marquise Brown had a brilliant season with the Ravens a couple of years ago
Two underwhelming seasons with the Cardinals can not curb the importance that the WR held in the Baltimore Ravens. He was a force to be reckoned with.
He had his career-best in the Ravens squad with more than 1000 yards receiving and 91 receptions. He was often targeted by the Baltimore Ravens quarterback, and reigning MVP Lamar Jackson.
In the coming season, Brown will have a major role to play. He will be responsible for taking the pressure off from Travis Kelce who played an advanced role in the last two seasons. In the next season, Brown would be looking forward to finding himself in that position.
