The Green Bay Packers showed the NFL world that they wouldn’t roll over after the massive Aaron Rodgers trade. Jordan Love and this young Packers offense proved they can score on any NFL defense when firing on all cylinders. Their late-season run into the playoffs proved a lot of doubters wrong.
As well as Love played, it would be impossible to ignore Aaron Jones’ impact on the Packers’ offense late in the season. He finished the season rushing for over 100 yards in five straight games. One of those games came against the Dallas Cowboys in the Super Wild Card round. Ahead of the Super Bowl, Jones released a statement about those Cowboys.

Aaron Jones ran for 118 yards and three touchdowns, but also stuffed Cowboys All-Pro pass rusher Micah Parsons at the line of scrimmage multiple times. Assisted by his blocking, Jordan Love was able to throw for 272 yards, three touchdowns, with a nearly perfect passer rating. The Packers won that game 48-32 after dominating offensively. Jones had something to say about his own performance:

“He’s checking for the nickel coming off the edge and if he’s not coming he’s supposed to get out in his route,” Love explained to Parsons. “He would feel you beat one of our o-linemen and his instinct would go to chip you and help in protection.” To which Parsons noted it was “unbelievable”.
The Packers are 5-0 all time at AT&T Stadium (which includes their Super Bowl XLV victory during the 2010-11 season). It is always memorable when the Cowboys and Packers take on each other, this year was no different.
