<\/p>\nThe debate around where Warriors star Steph Curry belongs on the all-time greats list has been stirred up again thanks to Shaquille O\u2019Neal.<\/p>\n

After Steph did Steph things in the Warriors\u2019 132-126 OT win against Boston on Tuesday, Shaq proposed a question that sent Dubs fans\u2019 tongues\u2019 wagging.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m wondering \u2026 I\u2019m not saying, I\u2019m just wondering, because he\u2019s been consistently the best shooter his whole career. I\u2019m wondering, is it time to start putting him as the best player of all time?\u201d O\u2019Neal asked after Golden State\u2019s win on Inside the NBA.<\/p>\n
Shaq was instantly met with pushback by fellow analysts and Kenny Smith asked Shaq if he would put Steph ahead of himself on the all-time greats list.<\/p>\n
\u201cYes. Way better. Yes, of course,\u201d O\u2019Neal said. \u201cThat\u2019s why he\u2019s my favorite player. I played 20 years, watched 20 years before that. I\u2019ve never seen a guy like him. He\u2019s doing it consistently and he has championships. I\u2019m not putting him anywhere, I\u2019m saying for all the chitter-chatter, is it time to just put him in the conversation? I\u2019m asking the fans, is it time to start putting him in the conversation as one of the best players ever?\u201d<\/p>\n
Naturally, Warriors head coach Steve Kerr was asked about Shaq\u2019s comments and gave an interesting answer.<\/p>\n
\u201cLove that. I think the argument, that maybe isn\u2019t even an argument, is he the most skilled player of all time?\u201d Kerr said on 95.7 The Game. \u201cThere\u2019s all kinds of different ways of looking at who\u2019s the best and all that, who\u2019s the most talented. You can factor in size and length and athleticism, scoring inside, scoring (outside), whatever.<\/p>\n
\u201cI just look at Steph as the most skilled basketball player I\u2019ve ever seen. There\u2019s never been anybody in terms of their shooting and ball-handling ability and ability to shoot from the distances that he shoots from and the finishing in the lanes, the rhythm, the fluidity.
