WATCH: Windies debutant’s wild wicket celebration dubbed ‘best of all time’

West Indies debutant Kevin Sinclair has produced one of the greatest wicket celebrations in the history of Test cricket.

Sinclair was already having a debut to remember, making 50 with the bat, when he claimed his first Test wicket – the prized scalp of Usman Khawaja.

But the 24-year-old wasn’t done there. Sinclair wowed the Gabba crowd further by producing a stunning backflip in his celebration.

“What a celebration!”, Michael Vaughan said on Fox Cricket.

“That has got to be the best (celebration) ever. That is the best ever,” Allan Border responded.

“We’ve just seen one of the great celebrations of all time,” Ian Smith added.

The commentators then interviewed Sinclair through the Spidercam at the next drinks break.

“I feel a bit of relief, first Test match, bowling, I was kind of nervous but I’ve got my first wicket which changes everything for me now,” Sinclair said.

“It’s my best celebration, it’s my best wicket celebration, now I’ve got to go back it up again for the skipper.”

The commentators were left stunned as replays showed just how high Sinclair propelled himself off the ground.

“How about the flexibility,” Smith said.

“If I did that I would tear every muscle in my body,” Border responded.

“Test cricket needs characters and I think we’ve got one. He batted so well and then he produces a nice delivery and it’s a good catch and then he does this, he gets some height doesn’t he,” Vaughan said.
